CBSE Class 10th Social Science Exam Pattern
The CBSE Class 10th Social Science exam paper
will be of three hours and a total of 80
marks. the paper will consist of 35
questions in all divided into three sections.
Section A: Objective type question.
There will be a total of 20 objective type
questions in this section. each question will carry one Mark.
Section B: Short answer questions
This section comprises 7 questions of 3 marks
each. students are advised to not exceed 80 words for each answer.
Section C: Long answer questions
In this section, there will be a total of 5
questions of 5 marks each. Students should not exceed
120 words each answer.

The last question will be a map-based question of 6 marks with two parts-35 a. from History (2 Marks) and 35b. form Geography (4 Marks)
